172 cases of dengue in the Nile and “Sawa Benkad”, the ministry logo to take up the challenge

The Ministry of Health and the Population of the State of the Nile revealed that 172 cases of dengue were recorded during a media pulpit to shed light on the epidemiological situation of the disease. The Minister of Health explained, d. Magda Abdullah, that the vast majority of cases (158 cases) between expatriates, while only 14 cases were recorded between state residents.

The chair was under the slogan “Sawa Benkad” to improve transparency and involve the company in the face of the challenge, confirming the participation of all the parties concerned. The Minister stressed that the extraordinary situation in the country and the large expatriate movement contributed to the transmission of IDIS mosquitoes, the main baby carrier of the disease, in particular in the localities of Atbara, Shendi and the Mummate, according to the results of the field surveys which lasted two weeks.

She pointed out that dengue has a real danger, especially since the carriers of carriers are active during the hours of clarity, calling for extended societal aid to cooperate with the health authorities. The ministry also revealed the start of the arrangements to combat mosquitoes at entries and state passages, and to launch a 24 -hour operating room to follow developments and coordinate efforts to fight against the disease.
