As a result, Kassala recorded (69). cases, including two deaths, and Gedaref (68), including 5 deaths, Nile infections (32), and finally White Nile infections (19), which increases the cumulative number of infections by (62) local cases to (10) to (18,382) cases, including (545) deaths, noting a decrease in infections in some cases. The states, led by Kassala, attributed this to the recent implementation of a vaccination campaign in the localities of Wad El Helio and Kassala, while new localities entered from (3) states, Khartoum (Imbada), White Nile (Al-Qatina) and North (Halfa and Merowe).
The dengue outbreak report indicated two new cases of the disease, and no deaths, bringing the cumulative number of infections to (440), including (3) deaths, noting that Khartoum is still the highest in terms of recording dengue infections, particularly in Karari and Omdurman. and the Eastern Nile.
The response report on cholera interventions confirmed the implementation of interventions at the federal level between last September 24 and 30, including daily monitoring of treatment centers in states affected by the disease and training .
He highlighted a number of challenges, including the lack of support from organizations to operate the treatment centers, low health awareness among patients and their companions, and the need to train as many managers as possible.
