Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General and Maritime Engineering Advisor Ibrahim Jabra, inaugurated the opening of the unified Sudanese window for gold exports, noting that the creation of the window was aimed at facilitating government procedures for export of gold, which had taken a long time. and the close distance between the Bank of Sudan and the relevant authorities, so that gold exports have become the number one metal and this is an urgent outcome.

Jaber said today during his speech at the celebration of the inauguration of the unified gold export window in the hall of the National Security and Intelligence Service: “We are meeting today to confirm that in Sudan we fought several military wars and an economic war which they ignited, but you were the first line of defense and you faced all the conspiracies until our exports reached the world markets today “, stressing that Sudan does not need food, that there is no famine, and that we challenge the world, and we export what is needed, he added. He is leading the battle for dignity with courage and pride, and at the same time, several wars, including military ones, are taking place on the ground, in which the armed forces and other regular forces have the initiative. an economic war that they started for us, and the Sudanese people were their first line of defense and confrontation to plans and plots. He added that Sudan had achieved the desired success there, as evidenced by the presence of our exports in world markets. as well as a media war to distort and betray the people and their government, and in return, the people demonstrated the strength of their resolve and resolve alongside the war of famine and humanitarian flows that they refuted . Sudanese farmers who have made significant efforts to produce crops, confirming that Sudan is in the position of giving and not receiving aid. He added: “We dispute rumors of famine and Sudan does not need food.”

A member of the Sovereignty Council confirmed that the unified window aims to facilitate government procedures for gold based on economic policies, as it is the number one metal in Sudan and the speed of its returns, in addition to bridging the distance between government and exporters. .

The window represents a model to follow, and the government will strive to implement it in the first procedures to obtain investment procedures to satisfy investors, in addition to developing infrastructure with a view to pushing Sudan to appear among developed countries. .

Jaber praised the level of cooperation and coordination at the level of authorities linked to the unified window and heads of state, calling for continued work in other areas to glorify the history, hope and desire of the people Sudanese.

For his part, the Managing Director of the Sudan Mineral Resources Company, Muhammad Taher Omar, said that foreign companies have resumed work and entered the production circle after leaving the country following the war, stressing as the company seeks to increase its production. He added that gold production exceeded 58 tons and revenues amounted to more than 300 billion state shares in mining.

Omar recognized that certain procedures represent a major reason for the smuggling of most gold in the traditional sector, and to cover the product, plans and studies have been developed and the removal of business fees that hinder the work has started, indicating that about 60% of the gold produced is exported and the distance between the producer and the smuggler is narrow, and he added that this approach has obtained good results which have been reflected in the income of export which rose to 1.5 billion over the last ten months. the partnership with relevant ministries and authorities for exporting Gold and its results have achieved good results, and it is committed to overcoming all obstacles through the policies established for the gold and minerals sector .

He acknowledged the great challenges facing their work and added that concerted efforts would be enough to bring them to zero smuggling, calling on producers and exporters to inevitably attend to the counter, which represents a solution to all their problems and works in the same framework to increase the number of companies exporting gold via official outlets.

In the same context, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Mr. Mohamed Othman, confirmed that gold represented 60% of all exports from the country, highlighting the major role of the Central Bank in revenue revenues. exports and in supporting the national economy. .

In this context, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Minerals in charge of the minister's duties, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Zain Al-Abidin, said that the Ministry of Minerals with all its arms has placed its greatest concern on Sudan, revealing a diligent work. to study industrial minerals in all states of the country, as they constitute the future of the country, stressing that the window will include the export of minerals other than gold in the future, he said. ministry on the country's mining sites despite war conditions.

For her part, the Director General of the Sudan Standards and Metrology Organization, Rahba Saeed Abdullah, called for the need to contribute to a national vision to restore what was destroyed by war and bring the country back on its path original. are moving forward with the firmness of those who are confident, noting that the inauguration of the window is a distinctive success experience and that it benefited from solid planning and close coordination between relevant authorities.

Furthermore, the observer and supervisor of the Sudanese unified window for gold exports, Saif al-Din Muhammad Ayoub, said that the country is embarking on a new and brilliant phase, and said that his ambition is that the window to be a beacon of excellence, innovation and continuous development, highlighting the availability of the window's work team to meet challenges and implement state directives regarding gold exports, and has committed to redouble efforts to facilitate procedures for traders and exporters and provide distinguished service.
