He said his administration was working to provide all medicines under health insurance, especially chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and others, in addition to providing medicines for children.

Dr. Omar Babiker pointed out that the reestablishment of health insurance record in Sudan helped provide services to expatriates in Nile State and Shindi, which recorded the highest density of expatriates.

While health insurance services will expand to South Shendi by adding new service centers in a number of areas in South Shendi, services in North Shendi are available in a number of hospitals and health centers.

He revealed that health insurance helped provide medicines to IDP camps and field hospitals.
