Northern Governor Meets UN Security and Safety Delegation
The Northern Governor, Abdeen Awadallah, met in his office with the United Nations security and safety delegation, in the presence of the State Police Director, the Director of the Intelligence Service, the Commander of the Intelligence Division of the 75th Infantry Division. Brigade in Dongola and the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid.
Commissioner for Humanitarian Assistance in the Northern State, Dr. Abdul Rahman Khairy said the head of the United Nations Security and Safety Mission in Sudan praised the efforts of the northern government to strengthen security and stability in the State and securing United Nations employees. He also praised the coordination between the security and humanitarian services. He explained that the visit is part of the review of the conditions of displaced people and United Nations workers.
