Sudan is stunned by the betrayal! ✍️ Rashan O’Shea

After the end of the April 15 war and the last manifestation of military chaos relegated to the dustbin of history, the Sudanese will be confronted with a tragic and mysterious reality, that of the spread of corruption within the State and the aggravation of the betrayal. to the point that it has become normal behavior that is not reprehensible. Anyone who thinks that with the end of the war and the complex political situation will pass Sudan is on the verge of prosperity and growth. It has become a country divided and contested by many. factions. What brought the state into the hands of the militias during the first days of the war was corruption and betrayal.

What has been mentioned above means that we are faced with two options: we either jump over the mines of corruption, or we remove them because we did not anticipate their laying.

In 2022 AD, during the reign of “Hamid Annan” as Minister of Interior, Lieutenant Colonel “Abdul Muttalib Muhammad Ahmed” was appointed Deputy Director of Passports at the Sudanese Embassy in Egypt, and a Chevrolet diplomatic vehicle with registration number (276/42) was assigned to him.

The activity of the above-mentioned officer, full of abuse and corruption, attracted the attention of the Egyptian security services, especially after he sold the license plates of the diplomatic vehicle belonging to the government of Sudan. He sold them to Soudan's cousin. the rebel leader and responsible for supplying the Rapid Support Militia, “Adel Hamdan Dagalo,” according to the sales contract documented in the Egyptian real estate registry.

According to official information provided by the Egyptian security services, a commission has been created to investigate Lieutenant Colonel “Abdul Muttalib”. During the investigation, the commission discovered shameful violations, including suspicious relationships with transport companies, in the issuance of visas to their employees. exchange for financial compensation, modification of electronic reservation dates for the issuance of passports, in addition to… The operation of a mobile passport bag intended for needy people and the elderly for the benefit of one's acquaintances in exchange for a financial compensation and the offense of obtaining a passport from a prohibited suspect, a Chadian national. His name is “Chérif Yacoub”.

After the commission of inquiry completed its tasks and submitted its recommendations, the Director General of the Police Force, Lieutenant General Khaled Hassan, saved the file and simply transferred the traitorous officer to the Sudanese consulate in Aswan.

The accused officer made a foolish attempt to dispel suspicion by writing a criminal complaint against one of his friends, accusing him of selling the diplomatic vehicle without his knowledge, prompting Egyptian security to contact again the Sudanese police with the details of the report, attaching the documents proving the officer's involvement in the process of selling the vehicle, and the details have arrived. The matter was referred to the Supreme Command, and on 12/12/2024, the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council issued Resolution 249. /2024, dismissing Lieutenant Colonel “Abdul Muttalib” from service. .

Not only did the Director General of the Police Force, Lieutenant General Khaled Hassan, attempt to cover up the crime of high treason, linked to the sale of state assets to a leader of the “Rapid Support” militia, but he also filed a mercy petition to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, demanding that he reconsider the decision to dismiss the service officer.

If the Sudanese prefer to remain silent and wait for the unknown, it is expected that these gangs that control the joints of the state will continue to threaten the future of our country, under various pretexts. The war of April 15 must open the eyes of the country. The Sudanese face corruption and betrayal in the corridors of institutions, even those who hesitate on the priority of the confrontation. Is it for the militias or for the traitors?

My love and respect
