Acting Governor Sennar discusses with Bank of Sudan and Ministry of Finance efforts to support economy and rebuild banking sector

The Acting Governor of Sennar, Magdy Brir, met with the Secretary, Mr. Bashir Mohamed Ahmed, Director of the Central Bank of Sudan, Sennar State Branch, and Dr. Mahjoub Ahmed Mohamed, Acting Minister of Finance and Economy, discussed this morning, Thursday January 23, the role of the Bank and the Ministry of Finance in encouraging public investments, mobilizing resources and promoting the private sector in stimulating the banking sector. and its role in the state's postwar economy.

The Governor of Sennar praised the role of the Central Bank of Sudan in restoring the banking sector in Sennar town and its contribution to the success of the currency replacement process and the provision of banking services which contributed to the return of life returns to normal in many cities across the state.

The Finance Minister thanked the bank for its contribution to financing vital sectors of the state and called for more cooperation to eliminate the difficulties that prevent commercial bank services from reaching those who are entitled to them in the rest of the cities in the state.
