Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, paid an inspection visit to the command of the 3rd Infantry Division in the city of Shendi, accompanied by the Lieutenant General Mirghani Idris. , Director General of the Defense Industries System. The visit was aimed at congratulating the officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division, as well as all supporting forces, for the great victories achieved by the Al-Maqil units.
Upon his arrival, the President of the Sovereignty Council was received by Major General Shams al-Din Musa Abdullah, Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, accompanied by the Commanders of Redemption Movement Control, Brigade Commanders and units, in addition to the heads of the different divisions of the command.
During the visit, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan listened to a detailed briefing on the achievements achieved by the Al-Maqil movements, including the liberation of the Al-Jili refinery, the military industrialization zone , from the base of the village and from all the villages. by Hajar Al-Asal. Al-Burhan reassured the forces deployed on the ground and the high level of coordination between them, which resulted in these successes.
Al-Burhan praised the achievements and victories achieved by the armed forces in the Maqil movements and other axes of combat, expressing full confidence in the abilities of the armed forces to achieve more victories. He also called on God to accept the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland, grant a speedy recovery to the injured and release the families of the captives.
