The aircraft was received by His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sudan, Dr. Fahd Al-Dhafiri, the Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalil Muhammad Ibrahim, the Commissioner-designate for humanitarian aid, Al-Sadiq Adam. , the Secretary General of the Red Sea Government, Fathallah Haj Ahmed, and the head of the Red Crescent Society, Dr. Khalil Sarbil.

The aid included aids, medical supplies, ambulances and food.

The Acting Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalil Muhammad Ibrahim, in statements to the press today at the Port Sudan Airport, said that Kuwait was one of the first country to send us an airlift after the outbreak of war on April 15, and that plane now contains medical equipment, ambulances and food. , and he added that the need is great.

Khalil praised the support provided by brotherly countries, including the State of Kuwait, highlighting the delivery of medical and humanitarian aid to all affected people in the war-affected states.

For his part, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sudan, Dr. Fahd Al-Dhafiri, said that the first plane of an airlift that Kuwait will operate to help the Sudanese people arrived after the first package provided by Kuwait last year. and it contained various medications, and it will be followed tomorrow by another plane.

The Kuwaiti Ambassador announced the resumption of work of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Port Sudan, after its work was halted last year due to the ongoing war in Sudan, commending the Federal Ministry of Health and Humanitarian Affairs for careful monitoring of the arrival of this aid.

In the same context, the Commissioner-designate for Humanitarian Aid, Al-Sadiq Adam, praised the great support provided by the sister state of Kuwait, stressing that the Humanitarian Aid Commission is responsible for providing and receiving the humanitarian aid.
