Divorce (progress) between Port Sudan et al -Daheen A project crisis or a re -form? – In depth – ✍️ Hisham Mahmoud Suleiman

Sudanese policy seems to continue its traditional courses in the divisions and re -explores according to variables of the interior and abroad, which is reflected in the recent division within the coordination (Progress), while two geographic groups and geographic groups and intellectuals were trained, the first met at the Sudan port and the second in Al -Da`din, this spacing does not only reflect organizational division but rather indicates a variation in visions and trends within the political organization that appeared to try to unify the forces of revolution and civilian and civil resistance
The map of the two groups at the Sudan port and which is in Al -Daheen?
A. Sudan port group
Distinguished personalities such as Hamduk Bakri Al -Jack, the Confidential Al -Birr, included Babiker Faisal Jaafar Hassan Siddiq Al -Mahdi Maryam Al -Mahdi Omar Al -Duqir Muhammad al -faki and Ojdi Saleh.
B. Al -Daen group
Asmaa, like Hajar Al -hadi Idris Osama Saeed Ibrahim al -Mirghani al -Nur Hamad al -Qui Hanan Hassan Birma Nasser Al -Ta’ishai Nasruddin Abdel -Bari Taha Ishaq Salah Manna Rasha Awaddin Naqad Hafez Abdel Nabi and Sandal Mix of Personalities belonging to armed movements, thinkers and political activists which suggests a different approach to the Port Sudan group and perhaps a more linked vision of the margins and the parties
Between the center and the margin competition for legitimacy: –
What is remarkable in this division is the geographic dimension, because the Sudan port represents the current administrative center in the shadow of the war, while Al -Dahaen represents an extension of the areas which have weight in armed conflicts And questions of historical marginalization. Questions on the question of whether the division reflects a conflict between a more open civil current to negotiate with the military establishment (Port Sudan group) and between a flow which seeks to reformulate the political equation of the starting points of the ‘Identity and margin (Al -Dahin group)
In addition, the nature of the characters in each group reflects a difference in the priorities of the political agenda. And peace problems, which can lead to a collision in visions on how to manage the current Sudanese reality.
What does this division mean for a future (progress) mean? : –
Regardless of the direct reasons which led to this fragmentation, its repercussions will be important on the future of civil forces in Sudan. .
The most important question now is: –
Is it possible to meet (progress) in a new framework, or will this division open the way to more fragmentation within civil forces? In the light of the continuation of war and regional and international complications, can one of the two blocks impose itself as a political confrontation capable of making a real change?
What is happening today can be part of the formation of the Sudanese political scene, but it is also an indication of the deep challenges confronted with any civil project in a country that has not yet been able to overcome its crises structural.
