The northern emergency plan to stabilize water services after the militia has targeted the Meroe station

On the progress of the implementation of the emergency plan to counter the repercussions of the targeting of the rebellious militia of the Merway dam station, and the efforts made to stabilize services for citizens, in particular drinking water

The plan includes the installation of solar energy units for water factories and the supply of generators in strategic installations

The director general of the Ministry of Infrastructure underlined the installation of 14 solar energy units for the water stations on the total of fifty targeting their installation in the plan so that these stations are not assigned by current failures to a stable service,

For his part, the director of the State of the North, the engineer Abdel Nasser Ahmed, assured citizens of the continuation of efforts to stabilize the water supply service

Stressing that state aquatic stations work well, stressing that it is visiting administrative capital, Port Sudan, to follow the obligations of the federal government towards the state concerning water services.
