As part of the care of women and the judgment and on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which fell in the eighth March of each year, Professor Manal Makkawi Ibrahim, secretary-general for social affairs in the state of the North, opened the secretariat unit and civil society organizations.
In his speech, Dr. Sami Aswad, director of the United Nations Fund for the United Nations, congratulated the General Secretariat of Social Affairs in the State and the citizens of the State, on the opening of the unit of violence against women, explaining that the fund has contributed to a certain number of areas and defeat them.
In his speech, Professor Manal stressed that this opening comes as an implementation of the directives of the president of Sovereignty Council to establish the have. Noting that the phenomenon of violence against women is a global phenomenon from which all societies suffer, including Arab society, and the pace of violence against women can increase in the fields of wars.
Professor Manal explained that the opening of the anti-violence unit of female violence is a real addition to supplement all the services to the various segments of society, praising the efforts and support of the United Nations population funds in the state to provide the best public services which are in the interest of citizens as well as the interests of the fund to rehabilitate and develop the capacities of women.
She stressed that women are the pillar of the family and the pillars of the company, and that the openings will continue for a certain number of centers in the various localities of the State after their maintenance and their rehabilitation, and concerns will be pronounced at the Al -Gaba and the Al -Pour Center. At the end of her speech, she appreciated the role of the armed forces and the forces participating in the war of dignity and in the victories he won in all the axes.
