The production capacity of flour factories increased from 1,500 tonnes per day to 2000 tonnes. The delegation visited the complex control room, grinding departments, flour packaging, mobilization of small packages and apostasy.

The Governor of the State of the Red Sea, Lieutenant-General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, praised the contribution of the SIQA group to fill the gap of flour, noting that the State hosts all investments and factories and works to eliminate obstacles before them. He stressed that the state had promising opportunities to attract more investments, especially in the industrial sector, explaining that the SIQA has helped meet the needs of the state of various flour products by increasing grinding operations.

For his part, the Minister of Federal Industry, responsible for Mahasin Ali Yaqoub, said that the ministry was trying to locate the national industries after the outbreak of war in the United States to cover the needs of the country of goods and foodstuffs. She explained that the SIQA group covered a large part of the needs of the country of flour and its products, adding that the establishment of new factories and branches in the United States will help to fold the needs of the country.

In the same context, the executive director of Dal Food Group, Aref Najm El -Din, said that the SIQA complex has been a work since last year to increase the production capacity of terrestrial flour from 1500 tonnes per day to 2000 tonnes. He pointed out that the increase in the total production capacity of factories to 1000 tonnes per day per factory, instead of 750 tonnes, increased the total production of factories to 2,000 tonnes per day. He explained that the new additional production lines will help fill the gap in flour in the country and meet the needs of all states, in addition to exporting abroad.

In the same context, Abdel Nasser Abdel Razek Abdeen, director of the Manufacturing Department of Dal Food Group, said that the Siqa flour port factories in Port Soudan were designed to accommodate the increase in production lines and that daily production has reached more than 2,000 tonnes per day. He added that the company has introduced new machines since November 15 of last year, and has been installed and operated in a short period of time, because it began production within four months, which helped meet the country’s flour needs and its products. He also underlined the reception of the State to all investments, in particular in the area of ​​the location of the food industries.

In a related context, the CEO of Faisal Islamic Bank, secretary of a network, praised the achievements of Dal Food Company during the last stage because it reached the production of 200,000 tonnes. He pointed out that mills are one of the largest factories. He added: “We are in the banking field, we are welcome to locate the flour industry and we are delighted with more achievements by Dal Food Company.”

For his part, Sanada Omar, the representative of the Sudanese Arab Bank, said that the expansion of the production lines carried out by Dal Food Company is a bold stage of the group’s management. He underlined the preparation of banks to open the financing lines to increase production.
