He died on Tuesday April 9, 2025, after a life full of giving and giving in the fields of national service, public work and the private sector.

The deceased was born in the city of Khartoum in 1950, and he studied in schools in the capital, then joined the Sudanese military college in 1968 and graduated in 1970. During his career, he held numerous high positions in the fields of security, diplomacy and defense, in particular: adviser to the President of the United Nations, Ministry of Defense.

In 2008, the deceased assumed the post of director general and CEO of Zain Soudan, and greatly contributed to the creation and strengthening of the company’s position on the Sudanese telecommunications market, where he was known for his insight, his inspiring leadership and his great devotion to the exercise of his duty.

We have lost an important national stature and a symbol of leadership and sincerity.
