The Prime Minister … has not yet been appointed! – The face of the truth – ✍️ Ibrahim Shaqlawi

In the middle of the complicated Sudanese scene, the characteristics of a political hesitation are clear to make a decisive decision concerning the formation of the executive government. While the constitutional document seems ready as a legal framework for the transition, the management continues “the attribution without nomination”, which reflects the absence of a complete vision to form a government capable of managing the scene, at a time when security, political and societal considerations are congested at the internal and external levels. In this article, we try to discuss it, given a certain number of available data.

The president of the sovereign council recently rendered the decision to award the ambassador, that God blesses the pilgrim, Minister of Affairs of the Cabinet, responsible for carrying out the functions of the Prime Minister. It was a decision that triggered a general interaction, which was described by observers as “incomplete”, because it was to be appointed Prime Minister in full power to direct the transition phase, in accordance with what was stipulated in the average constitutional document for 2025, which underlined the need to form an independent government which leads the transitional phase in 39 months.

Sudan is now in front of a crossroads; As the continuation of the temporary approach can prolong the life of the crisis, while the complete appointment can constitute a turning point in the transitional path. Leadership may see that the postponement of the complete appointment is part of a political maneuver aimed at preparing for wider understanding related to security, military and political files, in order to prevent the country from sliding additional clashes. This path can be understood as an attempt to create the appropriate environment before taking fateful measures.

On the other hand, the continuation of partial management appointments can be understood as a repetition of a traditional administrative approach, the objective of which is to maintain the workworm without entering the depth of the crisis or providing strategic solutions. In this context, it becomes a project to ask an important question: is it possible to build political stability in the absence of a certain executive leadership? The answer tends to negative, because state institutions are not simple without leadership with large powers. The temporary assignment, whatever the effectiveness of the assigned person, does not grant complete legitimacy, and it does not provide the planning tools necessary to face crises and did not seriously convince the street or local and international partners.

On the other hand, the political leadership may realize that there are major security and logistics challenges that can make the formation of a government integrated into the light of the continuation of military operations difficult. The security situation, in particular in Darfur and in certain regions of the parties, imposes realistic constraints which can push towards a more cautious approach, in order to avoid the dangers linked to administrative gaps or political divisions.

Despite these justifications, this does not eliminate the objective need for real executive leadership that leads the scene. The ambassador, may God bless him, is given a known personality with a well -known diplomatic and administrative experience. During his career, he was able to acquire a good reputation with the balance and the ability to manage crises. But the most important question remains on the basis: can the commission, whatever the mission, fill the leadership management in the light of a complicated political, security and economic scene?

Sudan cannot tolerate anticipation and ambiguity. The current moment requires a clear vision and courage in decision -making, because people expect a real transitional stage, not managed by temporary assignments, but rather a clear executive leadership that restores confidence and establishes stability. As we said earlier: the correction does not make a transition, and the country needs the institutions of a complete state, and not the limited decisions which increase the complexity of the general scene.

Today, we are faced with a historical turn which requires close accounts towards constituent decisions which create difference, establish peace and refer state institutions to their natural path. At that time articulated, we call the saying of the German philosopher Hegel: “Nothing in the world is accomplished without passion or fried.”

According to what we see, according to what we see, the absence of complete powers restricts the hand of the executive system and disrupts the ability to make effective and effective decisions, which devotes a state of stagnation, instability and helplessness to crises. Will politics go from the limits of commissioning to the prospects for complete appointment? Does leadership respond to the aspirations of people waiting more than balances and time management? This is what the next few days reveal and what courage will be shown.

You are fine and well.
