Gabriel between survival and absence … and Idris deaf draws the characteristics of the decision – the largest of Al -Dai – ✍️ Dr Mohamed Tabidi

In the light of unions and interactions that take place on the political scene in Sudan, the question of the Minister of Finance, Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim, who seems vague with the emergence of a new government led by Professor Kamel Idris.
Since the announcement of the justice and equality movement for its participation in the transitional government, Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim has been appointed Minister of Finance, but the current news still indicate the ambiguity of the role of this movement and the size of its representation at the next stadium. The fate of the financial portfolio held by Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim remains mysterious, so it is not yet clear if the movement will maintain this ministry, or that he defines it personally, or that the post returns to another leader in his movement.
This ambiguity is not only the monopoly of finance, but also includes the Ministry of Minerals led by Muhammad Bashir Abu Namo, another leader of the same movement. Enlightened sources indicate that army leaders can choose the defense and the interior ministers themselves due to the sensitivity of the ministries of security under the conditions of continuous war.
On the other hand, Professor Kamel Idris was the most important face of the next step after announcing the Prime Minister on May 19, 2025 by a decision of the army commander and the head of the sovereign council, Lieutenant -General Abdel Fattah Al -Burhan. To his first extent, Kamel Idris announced the dissolution of the existing transitional government, opening the way to launch consultations to form a new government which has been the first since the war between the Sudanese army and the rapid support militia in April 2023.
Professor Kamel Idris has expressed his vision of the next executive scene, stressing that the new step has no place for “extravagance and laziness”, and that the next government should be serious and effective to deal with the country’s economic and security challenges. Pending the completion of official consultations, citizens are waiting for the launch of an extended dialogue with civil and armed forces to form a government capable of driving Sudan to overcome its current crises.
The road remains long for the fixing of ministerial bags and consensus on government formation, while everyone monitors the developments of the fate of Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim and the movement of justice and equality, and they hope that the new leadership will draw a roadmap which ends the state of ambiguity which will make the fate of many leaders of the transitional period.
