In Sennar, the inauguration of the “Farha Eid” program came this year to confirm that the determination to be given is stronger than any challenge. The governor of Sennar, Major -General Rukn, Al -zubayr Hassan Al -Yayed, was launched this morning, organized by the municipality of the Zakat office in the state, with a clear and explicit objective: relieve the burden on the shoulders of the attributable categories.
What distinguishes this year is the remarkable expansion of the scope of beneficiaries, despite the scarcity of resources and the lack of budgets. In addition to the groups that the office used to support, such as the armed forces, prisons and hospitals, one hand to include the support forces of the armed forces and the families of martyrs, in a gesture of appreciation for their major sacrifices. The program also included the elderly, the insulation centers and the interior of the students of Sinja, Sennar and Suki, in proof of the passion of Diwan to reach the greatest possible segment of the needy.
At a total cost of 80 million Sudanese pounds, the program aims to support 6 thousand families, providing 24 calves and 73 sheep chiefs, in addition to cash amounts for hospitals, in order to support their efforts to provide necessary health care.
The governor congratulated the efforts of the Zakat office, stressing that this program represents an active and important role in filling the gap and the coverage of aspects that the government budget can be completely covered. This is a testimony that emphasizes the extreme importance of the efforts of the Zakat office, especially in difficult times. The governor gave this work to the life of the martyrs of the battle of dignity, hoping that God will bless the efforts of the office to achieve security, stability and peace in the state.
For his part, the secretary of the office Zakat in the state of Sennar, Ibrahim Youssef, stressed that this expansion in the program, despite the current circumstances, reflects the commitment of the office to its societal role. He stressed that the cost of the program amounting to 80 million Sudanese pounds, the actions of the localities are delivered to them as soon as the inauguration process is completed. Youssef considered this moment as “historic and separate” during the Diwan, stressing that the program represents a basic pillar of social solidarity.
The “Farha Eid” program in Sennar is not only a distribution of aid, but rather a message of hope which confirms that solidarity and compassion can make the difference, and that the gift does not stop even in the darkest circumstances.
