Sudan: security and influence equations – The face of truth – ✍️ Ibrahim Shaqlawi
According to the reality of the transformations observed by Sudan, and with the drop in the frequency of war, the indicators have increased that the path of state reshaping began to be managed by intelligent sales and that the Sudanese operations rooms hold more than ever before the sons of the future of the country. In this context, the unconventional movements carried out by intelligence services in neighboring countries have emerged, in order to redefine security and power in Sudan. Far from the ambiguous accounts that reduced the war of April 15, 2023 in a conflict between the generals.
These security movements began with a shameful visit, but he represented an early reference to the change in regional mood, the visit of the intelligence director in Central Africa, Henry and Anzit, to the Sudan port who transmitted an oral message from President VOSTIN ARKANJ Tuwara, to President Al -Burhan, linked to the strengthening of bilateral relations, to the means of supporting and developing them. The visit delegation wanted to express direct support from the President of Central Africa, because the visit reflected extraordinary interest in organizing security interactions in Sudan, in particular in the light of open borders and responsible for the inheritance of conflicts and refugees.
It was not a few days after this visit before the plane of the Ethiopian delegation in Port Sudan, led by the director of the intelligence service, Radwan Hussein, brought a direct message from Prime Minister Abi Ahmed to President Abdel Fattah Al -Burhan. This started as an official announcement of the return of Ethiopia to the place of indirect influence in the Sudanese file by joint coordination, after months of tensions which reach the start of the war, when Addis Ababa proposed an African intervention to preserve peace, then angry Khartoum.
The Ethiopian delegation, which also included Getachu Reda, the former head of my change and the current adviser to the Ethiopian Prime Minister, according to the “Middle East”, is clear that he came to the reorganization of the security relationship between the two countries and to explore the chances of re-ethiopian positioning in Sudanese theater. The meetings that took place and the understanding that has been disclosed on subsequent information, referred to a program that goes beyond bilateral coordination to allocate strategic issues such as African horn security, border control, contain refugee flows and deals with the files of illegal actors within Sudan.
What was remarkable at this stage is the clear gradual weight and the political weight of visitors. Between Central Africa and Ethiopia, a distance of influence, but management is one, Sudan has become a security file, advanced by intelligence services and its priorities at the top of security support equations.
In the context of these movements, the name of Salah Gosh is once again highlighted, the man that African capitals knew, and he was known for his ability to conclude agreements behind the doors. Its name is a return to traffic, although quietly, coinciding with the reissue of the security sales card, to confirm that Sudan is on the way to a temporary formula of “Security First”, to organize the next step.
The irony is that the potential return of Gosh, or even of the just name, is read in certain regional and international circles as a reference to the maturity of the “post -war” moment, in the sense of managing its results. In the presence of a unified civil direction, after Dr. Kamel Idris as Prime Minister, and the military establishment of the combat fronts, show the need for a person who is able to influence networks, without the need for complex transition institutions.
All this takes place under an intense movement of the African Union to make Sudan in its system, even if, by a flexible door, accepts the idea of a transitional government supported by security. The Federation praised the appointment of Kamel Idris as Prime Minister, they are largely in reference to the continent’s desire to close their eyes to the government’s military dimension, in exchange for guaranteeing the stability that allows Sudan to return to African institutions, accelerates the game of the war file and supports security and stability in Sudan and the horn of Africa and the regional district.
The meeting of intelligence services at the Sudan port, despite the variation in influence, brings a message according to what we see from the face of the truth that: the Sudanese state is again formed, according to the will of the Sudanese, as well as the sales of interests in the region. It is a good message, supervisor, supervisor and waiting for the right time to get involved and influence. It is perhaps time for Sudanese, politicians, soldiers and civilians, to realize that the reconstruction of the State will not take place by cloning the slogans of the past, but rather by a precise reading of what is happening around them, and in restaurants the initiative which unites the social fabric and supports the security and the restoration of the national project which preserves sovereignty and the reserves for Sudan.
