The representative of the Executive Director of the locality of Shendi, Director of the General Department of Health of the locality, Ms. Samia Othman Ahmed, inaugurated the awareness and education program of the mobile cinema for the accommodation centers of the locality in the areas of health and social assistance. and education, which was implemented by the Sudanese Red Crescent Society in coordination and cooperation with the Department of Social Affairs and under the patronage of the Executive Director of Shendi locality, Mr. Khaled Al-Ghaffar Al- Sheikh, in the presence of At the Departments of Social Affairs and Education, the representative of the Executive Director of the locality, Mrs. Samia Othman Ahmed, appreciated the considerable and competent efforts made by the Sudanese Red Crescent Society in supporting the accommodation centers and expatriates by providing food baskets and shelter materials. Besides implementing numerous health programs, Ms. Samia highlighted the importance of such programs that aim to raise community awareness and protect children and families from transmitted diseases.
The representative of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Mr. Hamdi Amer, renewed his focus on supporting and meeting the humanitarian needs of the shelters and revealed that the mobile cinema targets all age groups in all accommodation centers.
