An important meeting and stronger words that came out of Sennar this week to relaunch the alarm and announce the zero time for an unbearable agricultural season.
The governor was clear in his speech saying: (State life is linked to agriculture and the spirit of the state in agriculture) These words are not only slogans, but rather a painful fact that everyone realizes in Sennar and even in all parts of Sudan, in particular after the description and the ruin which affected the citizens and their goods and the institutions and the government institutions. In light of these rubble, the hopes of citizens and the whole country were attached to agriculture as a corner for reconstruction and development and a means of recovering the bottom country, as the governor of Sennar said during the meeting and in the sennar, agriculture constitutes 85% of economic activity, according to the representative of the Ministry of Finance, but between states and actions are the greatest challenge.
The representative of the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Majid Abdel -Hakam, did not hesitate to reveal the facts in public, he said frankly: (if the agricultural season will pass this current rate, there will be a risk to the State). Strong words of an official who achieves the volume of a possible disaster … and added by saying the basic problem … seed. Yes .. This is a shocking number which reveals the size of the default and confirms that banks have not fulfilled their obligations to this vital sector.
Here, the role of the Bank of Sudan is highlighted as a pivotal player. The hopes of an entire people in reconstruction and recovery due to obstacles that can be resolved with gravity and coordination.
It is time for the banks to be, led by the Bank of Sudan, the agricultural bank, and all the authorities concerned “soldiers to serve the country” as he called the governor, not to be an obstacle in his own way … The agricultural season awaits the Bank of Sudan and the agricultural bank, they are the only hope that can save it.
