The Minister of Economic and Economic Resources _ State of Sennar _ The engineer / Al -hadi al -Sadiq Ali and the organization of Qatari agriculture and the agricultural organization for the United Nations (FAO) Al -Ster / Adam Yao in the Hala Al -Bir region in the locality of Sennar. The Minister of the Observatory expressed thanks to FAO for its follow -up – agricultural work and its success in providing contributions to guarantee food to families affected by the country. The Minister has renewed his thanks to the workers of the organization of the State and the region in their good and continuous presence and their constant work in the supply of seeds, and Al -Hadi declared that the state of Sennar suffers from a serious shortage of mechanisms, financing and agricultural contributions to avoid the efforts of his continuous season. And that the government of the State has drawn up an integrated plan for the success of the agricultural season for this year by providing responsibilities for seeds, financing and procedures, according to what was planned.
Al -hadi stressed that the arrival of these seeds will contribute to the cultivation of estimated parts of targeted spaces, will be distributed to all farmers free of charge, praising the workers of the organization that they are a symbol of production through their circumambulation at the level of Sudan. In order to contribute the contributions and efforts of the organization estimated in the seeds, the orchards, the cattle and the means of earning lives for the reliefs, to go beyond difficulties and to return to production, announcing the arrival of a thousand tonnes of improved corn seeds to support small farmers in the rain and irrigated sector.
For his part, the deputy for the organization of the United Nations Food and Agriculture of the United Nations, in FAO, in Sudan, Mester / Adam Yao, revealed that al-Faw plans target 850,000 farms in Sudan with improved seeds, and this should contribute to increasing production and productivity to meet their needs and strengthen food and nutritional security in the state.
Yao said his visit to the state of Sennar aims to follow the success of the agricultural season for this year and to distribute improved seeds for small producers, adding that they have used to work for previous years and that we are therefore sure that we are eager to support 100,000 farms with improved seeds in order to help them improve the food security conditions of citizens.
