Al -fasher: a cry in the face of international silence – something for the fatherland – ✍️ Mr. Salah is strange

Tragedies in Sudan continue, and the humanitarian disaster in the city of El Fasher in the north of Darfur is exacerbated to reach unprecedented levels of ugliness and brutality. While millions of innocent civilians live under a stifling and inhuman seat imposed by the rapid support militia, a shameful international silence manifests itself which reveals the duality of standards and pronouns. The Declaration of the Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Kamel Idris, was not only an official declaration, but was a cry of anger, pain and responsibility, worthy of the size of the catastrophe whose chapters are revealed before the eyes of the world.

What is happening in El-Fasher is not only a transient humanitarian crisis, but rather a war crime entirely in water. The use of famine as a weapon against civilians, systematically surrounding them, targeting and destroying hospitals and assaulting relief convoys and workers, all of which constitute crimes against humanity. These brutal practices carried out by the rapid support militia reveal its true face free of moral or human values, and confirms that it does not fulfill any international laws or human standards.

The defenseless civilians of El Fasher, with their legendary constancy in the face of this brutal seat, have proven that human dignity cannot be purchased or oppressed. Their constancy is a living testimony of the will of life and refusing to submit to injustice and famine. They deserve any appreciation and solidarity, not only denunciation and conviction.

On the other hand, the heroic role played by the armed forces, other regular forces, joint forces, support forces and forces informed in the defense of isolation and defenseless civilians deserve greeting and appreciation. They stand in front of barbarism and brutality, and they sacrifice their lives to protect the innocent people.

The Sudanese Prime Minister’s appeal to the international community, represented by the Secretary General of the United Nations and international and humanitarian organizations, is not only an ordinary appeal. It is a blatant warning that the continuation of silence on these crimes will make everyone partners. The Sudanese government reminds us that the rapid support militia is the only party to challenge and refuse to implement the 2736 resolution of the Security Council, while the Sudanese government welcomes and accepts the armistice. This clearly reveals the authority which hinders the arrival of humanitarian aid and assumes responsibility for methodology and systematic intimidation.

Attacking relief convoys, killing drivers, looting expeditions and attacking help without decisive position or real conviction of international organizations is something that cannot be accepted. This exposed ignorance only serves the authors of these crimes and encourages them to continue to change them. The liquidation of civilians fleeing the hell of the siege and the bombings in El-Fasher, and the threat of millions following the systematic and intensive destruction of hospitals, which are all unable to tolerate.

It is time for the international community to get out of the circle of lukewarm data in the circle of serious action and actual pressure. The United Nations and international organizations and human rights must assume their moral and legal responsibilities, to exert the greatest pressure on the rapid support militia to open humanitarian corridors, to stop the use of hunger as a weapon and put an end to the unjust seat on El-Fasher.

What is happening in El-Fasher is stigma in the front of humanity. It is an urgent invitation to the global conscience of vigilance and movement before it is too late. Are we going to attend a serious decision that puts an end to this tragedy, or will the silence of the world remain the only answer to the cries of the innocents in El Fasher?
