The first meeting of the Committee for the Rehabilitation of Health Establishments in Khartoum State
The Rehabilitation Committee for Khartoum State health establishments held its first meeting today, on Thursday, July 24, at the headquarters of the State Ministry of Health, in the implementation of resolution n ° (153) of 2025 advertising published by the team, engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, member of the Sovereignty de Transitional committee.
The meeting was chaired by the agent in charge of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Esmat Mustafa, while the federal subsectary, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim via Visual Communication Technology (ZOOM). The director general of the Ministry of Health also occupied the state of Khartoum, d. The Fatah Muhammad al -amin, the position of the vice -chair of the committee, and d. Mahmoud al -Qaim, the mission, with the participation of a number of members of the competent authorities.
The meeting discussed the founding decision of the committee and discussed the work mechanisms proposed to implement the tasks of eligible health establishments, and a complete report on the current health situation in the state of Khartoum was presented, in particular with regard to affected health establishments. The discussions included examining the field reports and the offer of recommendations, as well as estimating the costs necessary to start the implementation.
D. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim said that the Committee aims to restart health establishments urgently and create the appropriate environment to recover the health system, indicating that the action plan includes short and long -term objectives, according to a clear calendar, which restores confidence in the level of health services.
For its part, Dr The Rahman Muhammad Al -Amin has opened the importance of dealing with current epidemiological challenges, stressing that preparing for the fall chapter requires the supply of pesticides, employment and means of management, stressing that public health at this stage requires an effective and rapid response.
The meeting ended with a certain number of outings, the most important of which is the adoption of a mechanism to hold periodic meetings for the Committee, and to organize field visits to assess the status of health establishments, in addition to coordination with supporters, and the monitoring of technical reports, in preparation for the implementation of a detailed restart plan for each hospital.
