The Ministries of Federal Health and the Red Sea conclude the National Workshop for Training in Infections Control (IPC) in 18 states

In the navigation agencies of the city of Port Sudan, the National Training Workshop for Control of Infections, which targeted the training of 50 medical and health executives of 18 states of Sudan, was concluded with a joint organization of the Federal Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health in the State of the Red Sea, in cooperation with the Office of the World Organization of Sudan.

The workshop was carried out in two lots; The first took place from July 15 to 19 and the second from July 20 to 24, 2025.

Dr. Samah said, director of the General Administration of Quality and Control of Infections at the Ministry of Health in the State of the Red Sea, praised the World Health Organization and its continuous and effective roles to support the ministry, stressing the importance of cooperation to support various activities and programs, in addition to the partners of other organizations.

He also called on participants to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during the workshop in the field in their states, so that the advantage has prevailed in targeted executives and companies.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Hassan, the head of control and control of infections, confirmed the World Health Organization, the continuation of cooperation with the Ministry of Health in the implementation of training workshops, praising participants in the two workshops, and expressing his hope of applying what was learned within States and organizing more workshops for health executives.
