In the context of strengthening the work of childhood councils and the development of their role in children’s service, Eng. Mohamed Kartella Saleh, Minister of the Federal Government and Rural Development, published a directive to the competent authorities of States and Regions to open separate bank accounts for each Children’s Council, in order to facilitate work.
This directive came in response to a request submitted by Dr. Abdel -Qader Abdullah Aboh, secretary -general of the National Council for Child Protection, who considered that this stage contributes to improving the independence of the advice, and in a vocal declaration, he thanked the engineer Kartla for his continuous support for childhood problems and the advice as an institution of childhood in Sudan.
These guidelines aim to strengthen advice and ensure the sustainability of their work with international and national partners. Note that each State has a council which has a legal figure under the law and leaflets supporting administrative law, according to the law of national protection of childhood of 2008.
