The “Dafar Tzed” policy always kills the dream of Sudan ✍️ d. ALAA IMAD AL -DIN AL -BADRI

In the depth of complicated Sudanese reality, it is a reality that many prefer to ignore or relieve its gravity as if it were a pre-bed history which is told without fear of its results, the truth tells that the successive generations of Sudan always pay an ancient colonial policy bill in which they did not know today and were not part of its manufacture, but that is integral of reality.

The policy of “diving tzé” used by the British colonizer during his reign of Sudan was not only a progressive strategy to control peoples. Rather, it was a toxic seed which was carefully planted in the soil of Sudanese ethnic and cultural pluralism to take it later in the form of social divisions, tribal conflicts and continuous fragmentation of the national fabric.

Despite the departure of colonialism for decades, the impact of this policy has not been left, but rather began to renew, confuse and move from generation to generation as a heavy heritage.

From the civil war to the south previously to the conflicts in Darfur, Kordofan, Al -Hharq, and the war current today, to political crises which are renewed after each time the same scene is repeated in the absence of confidence, the spread of hate speech and national identity.

Today, young Sudanese people find themselves at the heart of conflicts which were not a party to them and did not understand that their origins often pay the price of a clear political division, a fragile social system and a torn economy, and all this is a direct and indirect result of deliberate division policies that started more than a century ago.

Despite the complex reality, hope still exists, history is not a destiny that cannot be modified, but rather a raw material which is reshaped by the will and responsible conscience of the release of the effects of the past not only the responsibility of governments but also on each individual of society. Education, media, community culture and dialogue are all tools that can reshape awareness and adopt a different future.

But the first step lies in the recognition of the problem, it is not possible to build unified home security.
