The Prime Minister calls on the African Union to deal with the increase in the suspension of members of Sudan as acquired and impartial law

Prime Minister, Dr. Kamel Idris, called on the African Union to face the question of raising the suspension of Sudan members as “acquired law”, impartially and professional, far from all interventions, indicating that Sudan has fulfilled all the demands for restoration of its members, by the appointment of a Civil Prime Minister, and the formation of the “government of hope” from independent national skills.

Dr. Idris stressed that the African Union is the most necessary part to return Sudan as an active member, given its contributions to African work, since the foundation of the union itself.

This took place on Tuesday his meeting with his office in Port Sudan, ambassador Mohamed Balaish, the special representative of the African Union Commission, and the head of the union’s communications office in Sudan, where the Prime Minister renewed the government’s confirmation of the hope for complete cooperation with the union in all files on the continent.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister treated the historical roles that Sudan played in the African system, stressing the need to preserve and respect the sovereignty of the country, and to preserve the prestige of the state and the dignity of the people, stressing that it is a “red line” in the treatment of all parties.

He also underlined the importance of dialogue to be a Sudanese-Sudanese, and within the country, declaring the will of the government to hope to do everything necessary to create the appropriate climate for the contract and the success of this dialogue.

For his part, ambassador Mohamed Belash stressed the importance of Sudan’s restoration of his membership of the African Union, noting that the Union supports the return of Sudan to its natural position in the continental system.

He revealed a next meeting of the African Peace and Security Council on August next August, to discuss the Sudan file.

Belash noted the support of the African Union for legitimacy in Sudan and its support for its national institutions, as well as its interest in the reconstruction programs that destroyed war and to support the voluntary return of refugees and refugees.
