As part of his visit to the Northern State, which lasted two days, the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General *Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan* arrived in the Marawi city amidst official and popular receptions.

Upon his arrival, His Excellency inspected the command of the 19th Infantry Division, Marawi, and received comprehensive briefing on the overall situation in the northern state.

Lieutenant General Rukn al-Burhan reassured the efforts made by the division's leadership to secure the region, praising the rallying of the masses of the state around the armed forces and their involvement in popular resistance.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces visited the Marawi market, checked the flow of goods and their prices, as well as commercial activity in the city.

His Excellency also visited Dongola town, held a meeting with the Northern State government and the state security committee, and during the meeting he was reassured on the security and economic situation of State.

His Excellency also carried out an inspection visit to the Dongola market, during which he examined the conditions of goods and services and their flow to citizens.

The president of the Sovereignty Council inspected the city's land port.

The Northern Governor explained in a press release that the state government is taking firm measures to achieve economic security for all Sudanese, indicating that the Chairman of the Sovereign Council reviewed the efforts of the state government to secure all state borders through harmony and coordination among state leaders. the 19th Infantry Division and other regular forces and with the support of the popular resistance, he added, his government is making great efforts to monitor sleeper cells and thwart their plans to destabilize security and stability of the state.
