During his meeting today in the city of Port Sudan, the UNESCO delegation led by Dr. Ayman Badri, responsible for the organization of the organization, and in the presence of Dr. Hoda, secretary general of the UNESCO Sudanese National Committee.
The development of technical education and its exit from traditional stereotype have become a necessity to meet the needs of the labor market, stressing that the ministry goes forward in this direction. He also called for the creation of awareness workshops targeting families and students to motivate them to go to technical education, by noting the interest of the ministry for technical schools in all states and by working to rehabilitate them in a way that suits each state and the local labor market.
Minister Al -Tohamy praised the visit of the UNESCO delegation, appreciating the continuous support of the organization of the education sector in Sudan, stressing the reception of the ministry at each party who wishes to participate in efforts to rebuild the education sector.
For his part, Dr. Ayman Badri made a detailed presentation on the projects adopted by UNESCO in Sudan, in particular in the fields of technical education, breeding, programs and teacher training. He also underlined the support of the organization at the Transition plan for education prepared by the ministry with direct support from UNESCO.
