Ferry roots: respond to the political cloud – something for the fatherland – ✍️ Mr. Salah is strange

Relations between the Sudanese and Emiratis peoples have always been deeper and consolidated that they were shaken by a transient “summer cloud” in the sky of politics. What connects the Sudanese and the Emiratis is not only the interests or the diplomatic agreements that pass, but it is rather a rooted social and human fabric, built for decades of coexistence, love and mixed marriages. This fabric, embodied by thousands of personal stories and common families, is the impenetrable fortress which protects the relationship from any political fluctuation or deceived media campaigns.

The attempts of some, through social media platforms, “with special accounts”, to sow discord and to spread only a deep ignorance of the nature of this unique relationship. The water has adopted the Sudanese community from its foundation and provided them with an environment worthy to live and work, until their children become more linked to the emphasis and customs of the Emirates of their homeland. During crises, water has proven that it is the link and help, as recently occurred with expatriates because of the war, because it gave them a hand through generous humanitarian initiatives and dedicated exemptions.

Rumors favoring the deprivation of Sudanese from certain functions are desperate attempts to sabotage this cohesion. All official state decisions are taken by its reliable channels. It is from the duty of the Sudanese community to the United Arab Emirates not to be drawn behind these lies, but rather to count only on official sources. The relationship between the two peoples is based on confidence and mutual respect, and anyone adheres to the laws of the state lives in a generous head.

In the midst of this atmosphere, societal initiatives emerge to confirm that popular ties are stronger than any dispute. The last period experienced cultural and social activities held by the Sudanese Emirates, in which the people of the two countries participated to confirm the depth of the relationship. This is what should always happen: focus on what collects, not what is separating.

One of the initiatives that improve links is the honored of graduates despite the absence of certain official bodies, the cultural forum has succeeded in organizing a separate efficiency to honor graduates and graduates, in presence and an effective participation of “capable” members, which reflects the liaison spirit that distinguishes these activities. These initiatives emphasize the need for coordination between Sudanese entities to avoid dispersion and strengthen their impact.

There is a historical educational achievement. The completion of exams of the intermediate scene for the fifth consecutive time is a historical achievement for the Sudanese community of Emirates. This success in current circumstances sends a message of hope and confirms that tireless work and wisdom are the best way to deal with the challenges, as well as an ambitious educational project, because the Sudanese club Abu Dhabi has announced a pioneering educational project to ensure their return to the seats of the study. This project, which enjoys the support of Emirati leaders, embodies the spirit of fraternity and shared responsibility, and confirms that the water was and are still the second house for each Sudanese.

These initiatives, and many others, are clear proof that the relationship between the two peoples is firm and strong. These are not only slogans, these are concrete actions that prove that love and mutual respect are the basis of any permanent relationship.

In the 1970s, and with the climbing of the political crisis between the Arab countries and Egypt, including Sudan, in the context of President Sadat’s visit to Camp David and the start of peace talks with Israel, we were as a science student in Cairo far from this conflict. We continued our lives naturally, and after this political crisis has become clear, our societal career continued without any obstacle.
