A delegation from the Sudanese Ministry of Minerals represented by the General Authority for Geological Research, the Sudan Embassy in Tokyo, provided an update of investment opportunities in the mining sector, as well as geological cards, in a decision to attract Japanese investments in the sector.

The Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research, the geology of Ahmed Harun Al -Tom, the evidence that shows the incentives granted by the mineral wealth law to foreign investors, indicating that Sudan seeks to provide a more attractive environment for international investments in the fields of gold and other minerals.

Delivery occurred during a dinner organized by the Sudanese ambassador to Japan in honor of the delegation participating in the Sudan Minerals workshop, which included representatives of the ministries of minerals, agriculture and trade, in addition to the Director General of the Golden Mining Company.

The delegation paid tribute to the Sudanese ambassador to assess his efforts to support economic relations between the two countries, and the Sudan pavilion commissioner in Expo 2025 was honored for his contribution to the success of Sudanese participation.

This comes from the framework of Sudanese government measures to strengthen partnerships with Japan and increase foreign investment in the mining sector, which represents one of the most important sources of income for the Sudanese economy.
