The central denies the authenticity of the Tarko account freezing letter
The Central Bank of Sudan categorically denied the authenticity of rhetoric on certain media platforms and social media, in particular, in the “Gel of Tarko accounts”.
The central bank said that the aforementioned speech is false and unfounded, and that all the official decisions and procedures of the bank are announced exclusively through the official channels of the central bank, that the website, the media of the bank or the communication channels approved with the banks.
The bank has warned of the circulation of such letters manufactured and confirmed that it retained its legal right to continue the entities or the persons who are behind the publication or counterfeiting of these documents.
