When science turns into arrogance ✍️ on al -fateh al -zubayr al -hashi

* Science is a message, no authority *

Knowledge makes it a high message, that a person carries to illuminate the spirits and refine souls, but some of the learners made a tour of arrogance and superior to people.

These people think that knowledge has stopped with them and that others are absolute ignorance.

It is not the spirit of science in nothing; Science is essentially humility and recognition of the limits of the human mind, but whoever thinks that he has reached the end, he ignores people with the truth of knowledge. The poet summed up the state of these people saying:

Oh, who claims knowledge in knowledge

I knew something and things were absent from you

* The Koran warns against vanity with science *

The Holy Quran puts things in its quorum when it reminds us of the limits of our perceptions: {and you only came from knowledge} (al -israa: 85). Human knowledge, whatever its width, remains limited to the absolute knowledge of God.

The lesson clearly increases in the history of Qarun, which was deceived by his money and his knowledge and said: {I only gave him an acquaintance of me}, so the divine answer came quickly: {we therefore lost it and the land of the earth} (al -qasas: 78). It is a blatant message to all those who make science a cause of arrogance and strength, not a means of guidance and reform.

* The messenger .. and humility is the means of elevation *

In the noble hadith, the Prophet ﷺ said: “He will not enter paradise. This warning shows the risk of arrogance on the same faith.

And because Islam is a religion that connects science to morality, its saying ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ ﷺ “ `Nobody N’humlie God but raised it (told by Muslim). The real scholars are those who, the more knowledge, the more humble and recognition, thanks to God.

* Philosophers and wise … Immortal lessons *

Philosophers do not disagree through the ages to confirm this fact. So Socrates, the sheikh of the wise, said: “Whenever you know a flag, I will know how to know my ignorance.” As for Plato, he saw that vanity with science was a double ignorance. In our Arab and Islamic heritage, we find the great scholars, like the Imam Al -Shafi’i, saying: “Whenever you increase knowledge, it is more informed of my ignorance and my exclusion.”

These are distinct voices in time, but they meet on a fact: that anyone who grew up with his knowledge did not understand the essence of science at all.

* Shawky .. ethics before science *

The prince of poets, Ahmed Shawky, presented an eloquent summary when he linked knowledge and morality, saying:

On the contrary, nations are morality

If their morality left, they went

Nations are not based on the large number of learners or the abundance of testimonies, but rather the moral that preserves science and direct knowledge towards the service of man. And science without morality, as Shawky says, can be a curse for its owner and his company.

* True science .. humility and listening *

Science is not measured by the large number of books that we have read or the number of books he has written, but rather the extent of his impact on himself, his behavior and his society. The real world is not the one who throws people’s opinions or reduces their destiny, but rather who listens to them, is discussed with a spirit, and he joins gently and admits this above each person with knowledge.

As for the arrogant learner, his knowledge only increases with ignorance, because he closes the doors of dialogue and is hostile to the difference. He therefore deprives himself of the greatest lessons of knowledge: that science is an endless journey, and this humility is his main door.

*conclusion*

Science is light and advice, no arrogance and arrogance. Whoever makes his testimonies and his ideas a wall that transcends people, has lost the essence of knowledge, even if he thinks he is profit. As one of the wise men said: “Knowledge is much with humility, people benefit from it and a little science with arrogance harms its owner and everyone.”

Today, we need an urgent need to restore the meaning of science as a message, not as an authority.

A message adopting a person before adopting ideas and breeding morals before having it removed from titles. In science and morality together, nations increase, but with arrogant science alone, we only get ignorance wrapped in vanity.
