In a rainy morning, it only looks like rainy drops mixed with the dedication of pride, as if the same sky wanted to whisper to the Sudanese: “The homeland is invaluable.”
It was Sunday morning August 24, when the “Al -Dabbah” market went from a commercial space to a dynamic and belonging scene, as part of the “Theater on the Air” initiative launched by the Dubai Culture Department, and with the generous sponsorship of the Executive Director of the locality of Dabba, Mr. Muhammad Saber Kishash.
* Art when you wear the home of the fatherland *
That day, we were not only the players who made a show.
The market walls were not alone, even the earth, the rain and the heart.
The show was part of the campaign to promote the “Grand Nafra to support the war effort”, scheduled for Monday morning August 25, but what happened exceeded expectations.
* An audience turns into a hero *
The scene was not normal; Popular interaction was heroic par excellence.
A young child sells lemon, who is not over ten years old, approached twice to give everything he has collected.
Another young man, who works to sell the balance of the phone, empties his wallet in silence and smile.
A man who has only a bag of onion which he presented with pride, and a woman carrying Sudanese characteristics free exhausted by fatigue, she launched the money and the effort she could.
And many others have donated through the application of “your bank” while singing: “an army … a people”.
The gifts were simple in its material value, but it is excellent in its importance, carrying a message:
* Affiliation is not measured by bank accounts, but with the sincerity of hearts. *
Theater when it turns into a national arena
This theatrical performance was not only entertainment or artistic performance, but rather a live scene from the spirit of Sudan.
In the eyes of people, in their songs, in tears and smiles, we have seen the homeland we dream; A country that goes beyond the challenges and rolls up its flag in each ordeal.
The theater was a window of conscience, a bridge between culture and national action, and a living incarnation of the role of art in the service of the problems of the nation.

This success would not have been reached without the support and vision of the executive director of the locality of Dubai, who thought that art is capable of being an awareness and belonging platform, so it has all the greeting and the appreciation.
