The executive committee of the Sudanese community of Misurata receives a delegation of blocked representatives

In the context of its continuous efforts to serve the Sudanese community, the Executive Committee of the Sudanese Community in the Municipality of Misurata received yesterday, on Tuesday August 26, 2025, delegations of Sudanese stranded representatives in the city, which were pushed by current circumstances in Sudan to leave the country and stability temporarily in Misurata.
The delegation was received by the president of the Executive Committee and the members of the Committee, where the meeting was opened with a welcome speech in which the committee head, Mr. Moataz Mirghani, expressed the passion of the community to communicate directly with blocked representatives and listen to their cases and request the break to provide them with the necessary support.
Mr. Mirghani said the committee’s commitment to coordinate and make efforts with the Sudanese Embassy in Tripoli and to cross it with the competent authorities in Sudan and to the Libyan authorities to facilitate voluntary performance procedures and ensure the security and security of exchanges.
For her part, Professor Maha Mohamed Khairallah, spokesperson for the delegation, expressed her gratitude for the warm reception, examining the most important challenges facing and affirming the importance of continuing joint coordination to find effective solutions. At the end of the meeting, the delegation delivered an official memorandum addressed to Professor Moataz Mirghani, head of the Executive Committee of the Community, which includes a certain number of requests and recommendations related to voluntary return procedures.
This meeting intervenes in the efforts of the Executive Committee of the Sudanese community of Misrata to improve solidarity between members of the community and intensify cooperation with the official authorities in a way that ensures the return of the people of the fatherland as soon as possible.
