Sudan and Nigeria. A partnership awaiting a political will

Between Sudan and Nigeria, many sons are gathered and do not differentiate themselves; African geography, development challenges and common economic aspirations! But these strands require conscious weaving and a serious political will in order to turn into a strategic partnership that benefits the two peoples, and even on the whole African continent.
Nigeria .. African Economic General
Nigeria is not only a major African country, but rather the largest economy on the continent, and the homeland of more than 220 million people, and has oil and gas riches and growing international businessmen such as “Alyco Dangot”. In recent years, Nigeria has succeeded in expanding its economic influence within the continent, thanks to investments in agriculture, industry and infrastructure.
Sudan .. the land of promising opportunities
As for Sudan, it is the country of wasted opportunities, because it has more than 200 million acres adapted to agriculture, huge water resources and a strategic location connecting the horn of Africa, North Africa and the Red Sea. However, these possibilities are still not used due to the absence of major investments and political stability.
Why visit Nigeria now?
The visit of the Sudanese Prime Minister to Nigeria, at the head of an economic delegation and businessmen, represents a necessary step for the moment for several reasons:
. Integration of resources: Sudan has land and water, and Nigeria has capital and industrial experience.
. African food security: agricultural and industrial cooperation between the two countries can block a large part of the food gap in the continent.
. AFCFTA: Sudanese -Negerian Partnership can be a real African integration model.
. Political influence: the convergence of Khartoum and Aboga creates a strong African axis in the face of regional and international challenges.
An open invitation
We, from the national site of concerns, note that the Prime Minister must initiate a serious stage with an official visit to Nigeria, during which the ministers of the economy, investment and agriculture are accompanied by Sudanese businessmen. This visit will not simply be a diplomatic courtesy, but rather an investment in the African future, and a clear message that Sudan wants to go beyond partnerships within the continent, not by dependence abroad.
The all -powerful said: {and cooperate with justice and piety} (Al -Ma’idah: 2).
It is a divine invitation to cooperate with good, and today we note that the greatest good of Sudan and Nigeria lies in a real partnership, based on common interests, and opens the doors of the economic renaissance of our people.
God is the guardian of success
