Awareness of the security of the Sudanese citizen – a national murmur – ✍️ Dr Tariq Ashari

Safety awareness in Khartoum is no longer just a choice, but has rather become an urgent necessity in the light of the challenges imposed by war and security and subsequent social disorders. The capital represents the beating heart of the country, and any security of security is reflected in the stability of the whole country. The construction of a firm security culture among citizens and institutions is based on consciousness of surrounding risks and vigilance in the face of attempts at destabilization and cooperation with the competent agencies is the first line of defense on Khartoum. Consequently, the propagation of awareness of security improves the immunity of society and has opened the way to the return of life and normal reconstruction, ensuring that the capital remains a safe fortress for all its children.

In the light of the complex circumstances that Sudan is going through after the war, security occurs as one of the most important challenges with which the State and society are confronted. However, security is not only carried out through regular devices, but also needs the awareness of the citizen who represents the first line of defense and the real security valve. Safety awareness is not a luxury, but rather a necessity to build a coherent society capable of protecting itself and preserving its stability.

The Sudanese citizen has a central role in the security operation, therefore his awareness of what is happening around him and his observation of the details can be a reason to prevent a crime or a failure of a plan. Consequently, the establishment of a culture that “security is a collective responsibility” is essential. It is not enough to demand that the police carry the burden. On the contrary, everyone should participate in the district, in the village, in school and at work.

Safety awareness starts from direct education by national media and communication means, through training programs in schools and universities, leading to the creation of community committees in neighborhoods. In addition, religious and cultural platforms can be used to improve the culture of attention and caution, taking care that the messages are simplified and close to the conscience of the Sudanese citizen.

In today’s world, the role of technology in safety awareness cannot be overlooked. Simple applications, text messages and short awareness clips can contribute to the dissemination of information quickly and effectively.

Safety awareness does not mean living in permanent fear, but rather living in vigilance and responsibility. A citizen knows how he behaves in danger, how he reports suspicious activities and how he protects himself and his society. Only, we can establish a sassing and more stable Sudanese company, in which citizen is a key partner in the peace and security industry.

The awareness of security in Khartoum is no longer a secondary choice but rather an inevitable necessity imposed by the nature of the scene and the challenges left by the war in the social fabric and the infrastructure. The security starts of the aware citizen who realizes his responsibility to protect himself and to protect himself, before he is the responsibility of ordinary organizations. Consequently, the consolidation of the culture of awareness of security and its promotion through the media, educational establishments and community initiatives constitute the cornerstone of the construction of a safe and stable capital. Khartoum will not find his health unless everyone joins, the government and people, to make security a daily value and a firm behavior, paving the way to the reconstruction and the construction of a future of peace and stability and Sudan after the war and the most
