The Northern Governor: determined to support and sponsor young people and improve reconstruction and national recovery efforts
The Governor of the State of the North, Lieutenant -General Abdel -rahman Abdel Hamid, has renewed his full commitment to support and take care of initiatives and projects for young people, stressing that young people constitute the cornerstone of the country’s construction process and its renaissance.
This came during its reception today, the Delegation of the Youth Authority for Construction and Federal National Recovery, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Supreme Youth and Sports Council, the Division General Dr. Abdul Rahman Ahmed Faqiri, where the meeting discussed the means of improving the work of young people and its contribution to national reconstruction and recovery.
For his part, the secretary general of the authority, Hachem Salman Hamad, explained that Mr. Al -Wali expressed his deep appreciation for the role of youth and directed the need to expand sports and cultural activities, calling for the adoption of programs which improve the participation of youth in various fields.
In a related context, the Governor of the North confirmed his full support for the efforts of the reconstruction of the state of Khartoum, stressing the training of a specialized committee led by the Secretary General of the Supreme Youth and Sports Council, whose mission is to prepare a major support convoy in Khartoum in the context of national recovery efforts.
At the end of the meeting, the commission delegation expressed its thanks and its assessment to the Northern Governor for the warm reception and its clear interest in youth issues and their national initiatives.
