The Minister of Agriculture inspects the Khashm Al -Qarba reservoir and is considered radical solutions to the challenges
The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, a. D. Esmat Qureshi, this morning, with an inspection visit to the Khashm Al -Qarba reservoir in the state of Kassala, as part of its tour which includes the states of Al -jazeera, Al -qadarfar and Kasla. It was received by the commander of the eleventh division, Al -Bahi Mirghani Al -Badawi Brigade, Managing Director of the new Halfa Agriculture Authority, Mohamed Ahmed Ali and a number of leaders.
During the visit, the Minister listened to a detailed explanation on the reservoir, welcoming irrigation workers across the country to assess their sacrifices, stressing that community peace represents a maximum priority for the government of hope. He also underlined the preparation of plant protection management to provide pesticides and spray planes, calling at the same time to train agricultural associations to facilitate funding, stressing that agricultural bank remains the only option for farmers.
The Minister stressed that studies on upgrading the Khashm Al -Qirba tank have been completed, committing to find solutions to all the challenges the project is confronted. At the end of its visit, the tank control and control room is lost.
For his part, the director general of Khashm Al -Qarba, Eng. Bahaa Al -Din Abdullah, explained that the reservoir had contributed to the resettlement of villages and to the supply of employment opportunities, drinking water and electricity, but it faces accumulated problems which include erosion, leaks and violation on land, in addition to problems of training and wages, preparation of the work environment and the propagation of musical trees.
