The Minister of Energy discusses Cairo to carry out electricity projects funded by the African import and export bank

The Minister of Energy, Engineer, Al -Mu’tasim Ibrahim Ahmed, confirmed the ministry’s commitment to overcome the obstacles facing projects funded by the African importing and export bank, praising the bank’s efforts to support its continuity and calling for the optimal advantage of its services, in particular since Sudan has a complete support.
This came at his meeting today at the headquarters of the bank in Cairo with the director general of Risk, Mr. Elias Kaquia, and a number of bank officials, as well as leaders of the National Energy and Electricity Company and Sudan Electricity Company. The meeting has discussed a number of vital projects, including the Sudan Port power plant (Clainib) and village station 3.
For its part, the bank has confirmed its intention to continue its support for these projects, indicating that working on the Claanib and the villages 3 stations according to the agreed calendar, in a way that improves the capacities of Sudan in the field of energy and electricity.
