The launch of the “Drying Drying Dry” campaign in Khartoum state to combat dengue and malaria fever
Under the slogan “Drying fever with loyalty”, the state of Khartoum witnessed the launch of drying of the national campaign to fight against diseases of diseases, in particular dengue and malaria fever.
The Federal Minister of Health d. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, during a field tour which included the two areas of Hilla Hamad in the locality of Bahri and Berri in the locality of Khartoum, that the initiative has experienced a large participation of school students, citizens, civil society organizations, popular committees and clarification, as well as federal supervision and state and training teams.
The Minister stressed that the Awad Idais are increasing inside freshwater houses, in particular on the outskirts, barrels and air conditioners, which was monitored during the field visits in a certain number of houses. He added that the success of the campaign depends on the drying and the elimination of rubble, especially in houses free from the population, in addition to processing water braids and connections that constitute foci of reproduction.
He stressed that the drying campaign will continue periodically on Saturday and Tuesday every week, in addition to spraying campaigns and other control activities.
