In the Nile, the Nile inaugurates the large sanitation campaign with the large participation of youth and society

Inaugurated the Governor of the Nile, d. Muhammad al -Badawi Abdel -Majid, today, Wednesday, the main environmental sanitation campaign in the State, organized by the Supreme Youth and Sports Council, from the Al -Furai and Carré district (14) in the locality of Damer, in the midst of a large participation of the various sectors of the Society.

The governor stressed that the participation of young people and community groups in such campaigns is necessary to create a clean environment and a healthy society, pointing to the danger of plastic waste, in particular nylon bags which have become a direct threat to human health, whether it is used or when transformed into waste.

He called for urgent studies to replace nylon bags with environmentally friendly alternatives, stressing that the waste problem has become the greatest dilemma of the State because of the bad behavior of certain citizens, which requires an intensification of consciousness through the media, religious platforms, young people and sports activities.

The governor ordered the competent authorities to establish intermediate and large discharges in a scientific and safe manner which does not leave the side effects.

For his part, the head of the Supreme Youth and Sport Council, Mahjoub Al -Sir, explained that the campaign will include all the localities of the State under the direction of the governor, in order to relaunch the energies of young people to fight against waste and eliminate the titles of diseases. He highlighted the appointment of ten young people in each district to supervise environmental sanitation campaigns and waste control on roads and squares.

The executive director of the locality of Al-Damer, Mohamed Hamdo, also announced that all the local mechanisms would be exploited to make the campaign a success, which indicates that more than 12 mechanisms participate in hygiene and chapter.
