Health insurance: Commitment to full drug coverage during World Pharmacy Day
The director general of the National Health Insurance Fund Renewed, d. Farouk Nour Al -Damal, the commitment of the fund to ensure complete insurance coverage for drugs to ensure that patients obtain the appropriate treatment.
This came during the celebration of the international pharmaceutical day, which fell on September 25 of each year, because Dr. Farouk is an opportunity when it is an opportunity to raise awareness of the role of pharmacists in the health system, praising their efforts to secure the supply of drugs and facilitate its arrival and its appearances according to scientific controls, in addition to their continuous coordinates with the various departments.
He stressed that this opportunity reflects the appreciation of pharmacists who play a central role in improving the lives of patients, in particular in the light of scales and crises which impose increasing challenges.
It should be noted that International Pharmacy Day was launched in 2009 during the initiative of the International Federation of Pharmacists (FIP), and it is celebrated each year, coinciding with the anniversary of the Foundation of the Federation in 1912, to highlight the vital role of the pharmacy profession in the World Health Promotion.
