From the ground to the factory, we therefore rebuild Sudan “when it fights production … Do not wait for the climb” ✍️: Dr.Alaa Imad al -Din al -Badri

At a time when we are faced with a suffocating economic crisis and complex political and security challenges, it is necessary to seriously go to the real productive sectors which can make a real difference in the life of the Sudanese citizen and on the path of the national economy. Among these sectors is the agricultural sector with all its potentials intrinsically one of our most important tools to achieve recovery and sustainable growth.
I have already talked about the importance of relaunching agricultural activity, not only as a development option, but also as a national necessity which cannot be postponed, but this activity cannot achieve its desired objectives unless it is completed by a series of strategic measures, the activation of manufacturing industries is associated with agricultural production.
It is unacceptable at this time to continue to export raw agricultural products for no added value, while the country suffers from a serious shortage of hard currency and an increase in unemployment rates. The construction of a solid economy begins to transform gross production into manufactured products in the country, which means creating jobs to improve exports and extend the productive basis.
Unfortunately, dozens of factories that were previously closed as a pillar of agricultural industries in various states, some of which have been completely abandoned, while others have been eroded due to systematic negligence and destruction. It is not possible to talk about disrupting this sector without referring to the remaining impact of colonial policies which have never been concerned with building an independent national economy, but rather sought after signing Sudan as a source of raw materials for raw materials which are made abroad and which reproduce us at a new price and with more complex means which empty any national project.
What the army gave on the ground was not the same, and it proved that the will exists when it is necessary to decide, but what has been achieved militarily must be completed by a similar political and economic will.
The step we are going through is not easy, but it is not impossible either. Popular solidarity, collective conscience and support for sincere national initiatives are all factors that can transfer us from the state of recession to the horizons of hope and recovery.
If we have learned something from the past, then it would be that self-realization is the path of survival, but if we put the opportunity, then “on world peace”.
