With the approaching winter agricultural season, the voices of farmers in the North State ask legitimate questions: what have you prepared for us this year? What is the strategy to deal with the challenges that are repeated each year?

Northern farms, which is the pillar of the national economy, is always faced with chronic obstacles, from providing production inputs such as fertilizers and seeds, and goes through irrigation problems and fluctuating electrical supply, and does not end to low funding and a high operating cost. These challenges have brought farmers to life in a state of anxiety and anticipation, fearing that the scenario of previous seasons during which they lost was repeated.

Today, the ball is at the stadium of the Ministry of Agriculture in the State of the North, which is responsible for the development of a clear and transparent plan for the success of the agricultural season, a plan that is not limited to promises and reinsurances, but is based on practical solutions such as:

Provide production inputs at the right time at reasonable prices.

Ensure the stability of the power supply to secure irrigation operations.

Facilitate the obtaining of agricultural financing far from administrative complications.

Opening of markets to drain agricultural products so that crops do not accumulate and do not waste the efforts of farmers.

The northern farmer does not ask for the impossible, but rather requires the legitimate right to find care and the attention of his competent ministry, and that civil servants promise to a tangible reality on the ground.

Mr. Minister of Agriculture, this message from the heart of the fields that await you from the hope and the mouth of farmers who honestly ask: what is in your possession this year? Will your ministry manage to convert this season to success this season, or are we going to add it to the list of failures that have granted the farmers?

Agriculture is not a season that passes, but rather a life and a future. Either we support it seriously or lose the most important pillars of our strength and our food security.
