The Sudanese Teacher Committee refuses to appoint an introductory office and threatens to face the attempts to remove unions – an important declaration

Safe unions are large
On the decision to appoint an introductory office on behalf of the General Union of Public Education workers
> “We will cultivate on the paths of unions, fire,
It will not be extinguished by fear or restrictions of tyrants,
And write to us on schools on school walls:
No will to the voice of teachers,
There is no slavery after today for the executioners. “”
We are part of the Sudanese teacher committee, clearly declaring that we are a categorically and decisive rejection of the decision issued by the de facto authority to appoint the “introductory office”, on behalf of the general union of public education workers.
We confirm that this preliminary office is nothing other than the recycling of the ashes of the Code Union, this tool which was formulated by the late national conference system to kidnap unions and transform them into a whip on the emergence of workers, instead of being a voice for them. This entity remained for decades to complete the mouth and feel the throat, until it was one of the reasons for the glorious epidemic of the December Revolution which overthrows it.
We are announcing this position for clear legal and union reasons:
1. Verification of national laws which guarantee workers all the right to freely train their unions and to choose their representatives by fair direct elections, according to the law on labor organizations for the year 2010 and the transitional constitution.
2. An explicit violation of the international alliances that Sudan committed, led by the agreements of the International Labor Organization No. (87) of 1948 on union freedom, and n ° (98) of 1949 concerning the right to organization and collective negotiation.
3. The confiscation of free will for workers in the education sector, who presented their lives and blood to restore the movement of the Syndicat to its independence and release it from the power of tyranny.
We consider this decision as an explicit coup d’etat against the Revolution, an assault against our union right and a desperate attempt to restore the tools of oppression to adopt the economic policies that brought the teacher and the Sudanese worker to the hunger. How can workers’ conscience accept a reality in which the minimum wage can be determined by (12 thousand pounds – less than $ 4) and the highest level (96 thousand pounds – less than 30 dollars) in the light of double prices more than ten times since 2022, which has made the life of teachers and their families in an unprecedented knees of poverty and humiliation?
> “Teachers will not be given,
Their voices will not be subject to,
And the decisions (Amna Kabir) al-Jawfa will not restore the favorable national conference of the scene, because God alone is the one who revives those in the tombs.
The union is the right to extract it,
We also extracted our freedom in the squares. “”
We hold the de facto government and the remains of the national system of congress responsible for the impoverishment of workers, their oppression, the destruction of the public service, the ignition of the wars which burned the country and destroys transplantation and supplication.
We are at the Sudanese teacher committee to initiate our rules that we will remain on the alliance:
Adhere to our right to a free, independent and democratic union organization,
Rejection of any guardianship or stigma that restores us to the grip of tyranny. The same union has been CGU on the teachers’ trunk for over 20 years, the last of which was 2015 until 2019, the date of their fall, and the teachers did not commit them, except humiliation and corruption.
Work to mobilize the lines until the union regains its free platform position for workers, not as a trumpet for governments.
> There is no legitimacy except for employee options.
There is no union except with the will of the rules and its free elections.
And the one who wants to strangle our voices,
Leave the sound of the hidden street,
Teachers’ pens will not be broken,
And their dreams will not give up freedom and dignity.
