Sudan Youth … future leaders in time of digital transformation and reconstruction – something for the homeland – ✍️ Mr. Salah Gharibi
Sudan is confronted today with unprecedented challenges that require these chronic conflicts and progress towards sustainable development. In the middle of this decisive stage, the Sudanese “Zil Z”, a generation born and raised at the time of the digital revolution, is highlighted as a driving force and pivot which cannot be ignored. This generation, which enters the internet into the fabric of its life, carries not only the loads of the past, but also carries the keys to the future; A future characterized by digital peace, the cognitive Renaissance and the reconstruction of the country on modern foundations.
The Sudanese generation has unique characteristics that make it eligible to direct the stage of the stretch of peace, consensus and dialogue. Unlike previous generations who suffered from traditional political polarization, this generation appeared on the concepts of globalization and immediate communication, which makes it less vulnerable to tribal and regional divisions
The young people of Jil Z, Sudanese, used social media platforms in brilliantly digital diplomacy to publicize the need for peace, document violations and break the barriers of hatred. They have transformed smartphones into effective tools for civil resistance and calling for unity, because they have contributed to the formation of an international public opinion that support their problems.
This generation has more intellectual flexibility to accept the other, taking advantage of its openness to global cultures via the Internet to adopt a culture of dialogue and inclusion. This opening is the cornerstone of the construction of a complete and fair national dialogue process which goes beyond close interests and focuses on the common future.
The integration of young people in any future negotiation paths is not an option, but rather a strategic necessity to ensure the sustainability of any peace agreement.
The process of reconstruction of Sudan is not limited to the restoration of bridges, bridges, destroyed buildings and the cleanliness of Khartoum, but rather a project to reconstruct the State and its institutions, and here the role of a generation Z with its multiple dimensions in the renewable labor is obvious, because this generation represents the major and vital mass, which is qualified to fill the gap. They are able to implement reconstruction and infrastructure projects that can take years.
Thanks to their Digital Awareness, The Zel Z can be the Digital Guard for Reconstruction Operations, through the Use of Technology to Ensure Transparency and Anti -Corruption, and Document the Stages of Projects, Which Prevents The Repetition of the Mistakes of the Past, Along with their Growing Roles in the Economic and Environmental Advancement, asy have a clear vision of the importance of supporting agriculture and small and medium enterprises as a growth of growth, and the reform of public institutions to improve transparency. And their awareness of global problems, such as climate change, makes them pioneers in the introduction of renewable energy solutions and lasting practices in the reconstruction process.
The Zil Z is the “digital native” in Sudan, who did not know a world without the internet. This functionality makes it the engine of the cognitive and digital Renaissance, leading the process of digitizing education, providing educational content via the Internet and forming new generations on the digital skills required on the global labor market.
Thanks to its skills in programming, content design and data management, this generation can constitute an economy of knowledge and economic innovation does not only depend on natural resources. They have already started to create new online job opportunities and to contribute to the global economy while they are in their place of travel.
These are content manufacturers and documented events through new media and awareness, and they are responsible for raising awareness and correcting disinformation, which improves civil and democratic culture.
The Jill Z generation in Egypt and other neighboring countries is an unmistakable opportunity to prepare “the return elite” with high experience and skills. This temporary presence must be converted into a training camp and an expert laboratory which guarantees their return to the homeland as qualified managers. At the center of the institutional organization, with the proposal to establish a “return coordination platform” under a Sudanese-Egyptian supervision and international partners. This platform should be a professional and cognitive network that collects the skills and plans of the postal phase.
In the vocational training axis, the need to launch “skills construction programs for the reconstruction market” which focuses on vital areas such as project management, information technology, renewable energies, crises management and public health. The partnership with Egyptian universities and professional centers is very important.
In the axis of cognitive and cultural rehabilitation, the “Sudanese company dialogue and forum” is organized to improve national unity, training young people on transitional justice mechanisms and rational governance and bind them to Sudanese reality through remote research projects
In the axis of financing and entrepreneurship, the creation of the “return fund return” to finance small and medium -sized enterprises led by young people who return to Sudan, emphasizing technical innovation and green entrepreneurship
Investing in the generation of Z Al-Sudani located in Egypt and in other countries is an investment in the Sudanese future; These are not only displaced people while waiting for help, but it is human capital that have acquired new experiences and skills in different environments, which will make their return a qualitative addition to accelerate the promotion of the ascent.
Sudan is today at a crossroads: the path of the past governed by conflicts and militarization, and the path of the future which is built by a young conscious generation linked to the world, and believes in peace and development. The empowerment of the Sudanese generation and the supply of a safe and favorable environment for them is the only guarantee of transformation of the post-conflict phase into a complete rebirth, while dust and destruction turn into a platform for innovation and coexistence. The future of Sudan is not only a dream, but rather a construction project in which this generation contributes to ineffective and courageous courage.
