The word on the right is that the question of the separation of the media of education in the state of Sennar is important and sensitive, because the combination of them in an institution often weakens each of the two domains. We detect this as follows:
Reasons for the need for dismissal:
1. Different tasks:
Education concerns education, programs, teacher training and upgrading the level of students.
As for the media, it concerns communication, awareness, highlighting community problems and the transfer of the voice of the citizen.
2. Conflict of priorities:
The education sector needs an emphasis on the development of schools and the educational environment.
• The media need freedom and independence to be the spokesperson for people, not just a tool from an executive device.
3. Professional realization:
. When the media is under education, it can be used to publish decisions only instead of exercising its constructive supervision and its critical role.
• Education, in turn, can be overlooked if the attention between the media message and the educational message is distracted.
4. Previous experiences:
• In other states and institutions, the incorporation of the media and education is the lowest of both parties, while when separation from the performance level has increased.
Sennar proposal:
• Establish an independent ministry / administration for the media which directly follows the government of the State or the Legislative Council.
• The Ministry of Education focuses only on education, programs, executives and infrastructure for schools.
• Coordination between the two ministries is carried out through joint programs (awareness of education, literacy campaigns, etc.), but without administrative integration.
