Sudan and evidence-based public policymaking – Pathways – ✍️ Dr. Naglaa Hussein Al-Makabrabi

Building the Sudanese state after the April 2023 war requires a change of ideas to anticipate the future and decision-making, especially since it has a huge historical heritage, a unique human resource and a distinct geostrategic location, which make it the center of attention of those who are ambitious and determined to erase its demographics from existence.
Perhaps the lack of strategic vision constitutes the major challenge it faces in time and space.
Hence the importance of developing an initiative strategy that makes it possible to meet the challenges ahead, particularly in the administrative aspects of the governance of a country suffering from war and aspiring to emerge from the mud of darkness in the light of knowledge by developing public policies based on evidence. This can only be achieved through training and continuous development, which is considered the country’s lifeline and way out of the ongoing crises.
Perhaps stability represents the real factor of construction and rebirth, which can only be achieved by achieving national security, which is the main challenge among the priorities of the Sudanese government, and it is the basis on which public policies and the search for evidence to achieve them are built. It was necessary to call upon specialized centers for decision-making and policies based on evidence and how to apply them with science, knowledge and continuous learning through the specialized elites in this field, as well as to establish a precise specialization to add to the scientific specializations in universities, institutes and research centers in management sciences and political sciences.
And also as a title that appeals to researchers and experts, to add to the proportions of scientific exploration with ample evidence related to decision-making and the evolution of Sudanese public policies for the next ten years, carrying the good news of a promising future of generosity, dissemination of knowledge and the launch of a comprehensive strategy for Sudanese renaissance after the war.
May you always be healthy, Lord 🌹
