Khartoum Security Committee decides to prevent celebrations and demonstrations at the start of the new year

The Khartoum State Security Committee decided at its meeting today to prevent the holding of celebrations of the beginning of the new year in halls, clubs and resorts, in addition to preventing demonstrations and marches and not endorsing them, emphasizing their decisive management in accordance with the provisions of the law.
The meeting welcomed the details obtained by the joint convoys, valuing the security measures followed through the security cordon operations, as well as their role in strengthening security and stability and in preserving public safety.
The committee also asked localities to complete the formation of service committees, which would help improve the level of service delivery to citizens and enhance stability in localities.
